Wifi signal from booster and mini q

When I got Sky installed the engineer couldnt setup my mini q box, as my broadband hadn't been activated, but left me with a booster due to the distance between boxes.

i've tried the booster in various places and the middle light keeps changing from green to amber, but the mini q seems to be connected and working.

I've noticed thou that in the room with the booster and the one with the mini Q box, the wifi signal drops out and any other device is left unable to connect.

I thought the booster and the mini Q box acted as a wifi signal too?

Is there anything i need to check?

@Wardy49 what colour hub have Sky sent you? If its black you are correct the Q nboostercand box act as wifi extenders. However if its is white that doesnt work in thecsame way. Here you connect the main Q box to the hub but the Q booster has to be connected to the main Q box notvthe hub and the mini to the booster in thst order. The signal frommthe boister and the Q mini cannot be used by your other devices.
