Wifi really slow at night when I need it.

Wifi really slow. It seems to ne worse art night. Non existent broadband at 2am.

It has always been there as an issue.  Im thinking that there is a 'throttling' of the broadband at times when they think nobody is using it?

No, that wouldn't provide any technical or financial benefit to the ISP.  There's sometimes overnight internet maintenance though, and a known phenomenon where households with Q television see their WiFi coverage drops as the boxes go into their power saving mode at 02:30.
