Wifi not working yet all the lights are on - Sky says no issues..... Rugby area

Is anyone else in the area having this issue? Rebooted twice to no avail. Since upgrading to better faster internet last month having constant problems with connection. Wondering if it is the router as expected to get a new one with the upgrade as current one is pretty old but didn't.

That's the SR102 from 2013: with only 802.11n single band WiFi it's effectively obsolete (although still technically in support) and would typically be replaced when recontracting.  

 

The default hardware for Superfast is now the Sky Broadband Hub (2019), and for Ultrafast it's the Max Hub (2023).  The Q Hub (2016) is on its way out as it can't do non-PSTN telephony.

Thanks! Any idea how I go about getting a new one? I am really struggling to get hold of Sky about anything!

I suspect you'll have to persist with calling.  They'll probably try to get you to sign up for Broadband Boost or WiFi Max at additional monthly cost, which personally I'd resist.

Thanks - managed to get through and they have deemed I need a new router so it is on it's way - here's hoping that fixes the issue although still odd how some things work okay and others don't! Thanks for all your help
