Before upgrading to the new Sky WiFi Max and getting the new router, i was able toget WiFi in all rooms, since the change (over 14 days ago so that is not the issue) I get weak wifi in ther upstairs bedroom and none in the bedroom next to it, drop outs in the basement bedroom
Historically WiFi was always bad - old victorian house probably not helping, but once i got 3 Q boxes - the wifi was able to get to all rooms without issue (as i have Q boxes in upstairs bedroom & basement bedroom, which then extended Wifi giving me full coverage)
Since the upgrade and new router though, this no longer seems to be the case - it's like my Q boxes are no longer able to extend wifi and without that, the max router downstairs is not able to push it to all upstairs rooms
Near the box the Wifi is the best it's ever been, really fast Wifi, but just not in every room!
Any asisstance / advice welcomed as i'm getting ready to plug my old router back in and not send it back!

@MightyEdge316 the new white hub is not compatable with the wifi system Q boxes use so they no longer act as wifi extenders. I wish Sky would explain this to customers when selling the new WiFi max package. However Sky will supply up to 3 pod WiFi extenders as part of the WiFi Max bundle that do work with the new hub. Give them a call and they should send one out.if you need more as is likely as the issue affects the basement and an upper floor then they usually arrange for an engineer to call toncheck what is required.

Re: Wifi no longer going to back bedroom
Thanks for the response, Was hoping to avoid the phone option and use online help due to my not being at home during their regular call hours, but looks like a call will be necessary
Yes, it would have been helpful to know about the Q boxes , or maybe if the router actually had good coverage wouldn't be a requirement, either way but it is what it is i guess
Thanks for your help, appreciate the quick turnaround
Cheers, Edge.
