Re: Wifi keep breaking off at night.
When there are broadband issues between midnight and 7am it's quite possibly going to be essential overnight maintenance taking place which is carried out then to minimise disruption as most customers are asleep. You don't receive advance notification of this from Sky or Openreach. Hopefully it'll be back up and running before 7am.

Re: Wifi keep breaking off at night.
There are likely major ISPs who do not regularly schedule overnight maintenance-- you will have to research 🤔
My small ISP warns of any scheduled maintenance, and I don't recall any overnight outages.... YouTube ambience channels are streamed all through the night to help me sleep.... however, Aquiss is not cheap.

Re: Wifi keep breaking off at night.
@2muchTV & @2muchTV the vast majority of cases it isn't the ISP doing the maintenance but the network operator which in Sky's case is Openreach or City Fibre (both also incidentally also used by Aquiss) but in practice every network requires short periods when kit needs updating, circuits switched etc and that work is almost always done at night as usage is at its lowest. You can be lucky and go literally years with no issue then hit a period with numerous nights its a lottery.
The only way to get guaranteed coverage is to have multiple redundant connections using different networks/technologies.which is the approach business uses.
