Wifi dropping out or very slow

I have gigafast 900gb  fttp but recently the signal keeps dropping but when i ask Sky to check it always says that everything is working fine - why arent they seeing the results that i see when doing a speed check?

@assuming the hub's led indicator  is showing as connected there is unlikely to be aan issue. However while you buy a Gigabit connection the way Openreach's fibre system works up to 32 lines in your road share a 2.48Gb/s fibre from the exchange so in you may nit get the full speed all the time but actual contention issues are pretty rare as literally nobody uses anything like the bandwidth they buy except when running speed tests.

Far more frequent are issues within peopl'e home networks as  speed tests report the slowest part of tge transfer. If you are using WiFi it is pretty safe to assume thst is the limiting factor. Theconly reliablexsppedd test is one run over a gigabit eyhernet link with only thatcsingle device connected which should give a result of 900Mb/s. Actually unless tge slow downs affect the apps you are using Inwouldn't worry.
