Wifi disconnecting since booster installed

Hi all 

I currently have asus dsl-ac82u as my main modem router instead of the sky hub due to personal preference. Since we had a sky q booster installed for sky tv, my wifi has been disconnecting entirely. The. internet is still up but wifi devices all disconnect and cannot get back on. This happens maybe once a week

Im certain the sky q booster is interfering with the wifi of my asus unit. I have tried changing wireless channels but no success. anyone have any thoughts?

Probably not ideal to use the booster wirelessly with a 3rd party router in the mix. Is it possible to connect it via ethernet to the Asus?
