I've turned off Sky wifi on hub as I am using deco mesh. I've also turned off wifi hot spot on Sky Q box, but it is still showing as available.
I have the Sky Q box wired to the Deco mesh box.
This has me scratching my head. No way should the Sky wifi ssid be showing as available.

Did you power cycle the Q box after disabling the wifi? The change wont take effect until thats been done.
Also, you would be better hardwiring Q to the router if its close enough.

Re: Wifi disabled but still visible
Thank you, cycling the power worked. I will be leaving Sky broadband in a couple of months at the end of my contract. Open reach are not installing fttp where I live. I am paying Sky £37 for fttc (72 down; 18 up). Hence my Sky Q box is hard wired to the deco mesh.
An independent company is installing fttp (500 down; 500 up) for £27 fixed for 24 months. I can't turn that down.
Shame, as Sky broadband has been 100% reliable during my 4 years with them.
