Wifi connected but only working on imessage and safari

Connected to my Wi-Fi, thought it may have disconnected as i'm beginning to get used to at this time, although it's different tonight. I'm connected with 3 bars of Wi-Fi, yet no access to any of my apps that require a connection. however, my safari and imessages do work? Any ideas?

@KaidenTellin sounds like a number of other customers there is an issue with your connection to Sky's DNS service thst directs traffic. Powering down for an hour can help otherwise add a public DNS address to your devices network settings is a good work round I use Googles on 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
