Wifi black spot since router was relocated for full fibre

I have Sky WiFi Max . Since our Full Fibre upgrade, the router had to be moved to the front of the house, creating a total WiFi black spot at the back of the house now. Can a community moderator escalate this to send out a Sky Max Pod? Or other WiFi booster please.

HI @Miffster74

As you have found Sky make it incredibly difficult to talk to a real person.

However, several months ago I needed to talk with someone and after a few goes trying to navigate the phone menu system/bot I think I managed to get through by taking the billing/accounting options - my guess is if it is financial based they are more interested in talking!

Hope this might help you.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

A poor signal in certain rooms is something that comes up on here on a regular basis so try going through this to see if it helps:

If not and if you have Wi-Fi Max on your account then Sky will supply up to 3 pods as you can read about here:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max

So you can either call them on 150 from a landline phone or a mobile that has a Sky sim in it or Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom on the above link.

Thnk you, however this would be amazing help if a human being actually picked the phone so that I could speak to them to ask for the pod boosters instead of having to go through the AI voice activated say "yes" and "no" answers.

Can I add that my broadband speed was tested as per the AI voice on the phone, also I had checked my speed prior to calling. Rather than going through a say yes / say no system, it would be good to speak to a person about the pods or to login to my account and request the pods via a form that can then be submitted for review.
