Wifi and iPhone

Since sky local was having issues. Now all ok. My iPhone keeps losing connection with wifi. This is only an issue since local connection was lost. As notified on sky app.
Every time i put phone down it loses wifi. So have to reconnect every single time. Getting very annoying. Only started to happen since sky had an issue.
I've restarted router many times and this has made no difference. All other devices are working.
many ideas? I can't see emails as I have to wait for it all to load when I reconnect manually.
router had all lights etc.

Suggest you perform a broadband line test with the Sky App when it finds a fault it should allow you to book an engineer to investigate the likely fault.

Re: Wifi and iPhone

Thanks for answering.

I did the test and it says it's all ok. It is odd that this only happened since sky lost its local network.

I can't even find a contact number for sky. I keep being sent to self help pages which I've already looked at and don't apply.
Any ideas on a contact number?

If you have a home phone with Sky then phone 150 from it for Sky.

Re: Wifi and iPhone

I got through to 'broadband issues' and the person spent an hour trying to sell me the top package when all I wanted was to have my current package working. Over an hour.
so I then asked to be out through to cancellations as he was not listening to me at all. I didn't want multi screens or anything else.
explained the issue of no connection to wifi again. Eventually put through to tech person who said that the original person had blocked me getting an engineer. The whole traumatic experience took nearly two hours with the final person being very helpful. Engineer coming tomorrow.
Am I the only person to have had such a traumatic experience?
