Wifi Coverage in the Garden - extender?
I have a newly joined Sky, and the coverage through the hourse is great. However the coverage doesnt extend into the Garden. Can anyone recomend the best extender to use? Does it matter what sort I use?

Re: Wifi Coverage in the Garden - extender?
@Abbott-Family Simply having the hub over looking the garden is normally sufficent fot casual usee. However getting greater coverage outside your home is always a bit problemstic firstly because exterior walls are normally double thickness which reduces signal levels significantly and ISPs like Sky restrict any speed guarantees to within the home for their add-on packages.
If you have an external covered area like a Garden room running an ethernet cable there and adding a wifi access point is the most sensible solution. Alternatively if tge area has mains supply from the house a powerline networking kit with a built-in wifi access point could work. True external wifi access points can be bought but they are expensive as their main use is for comme rcial users.
