WiFi terrible since cancelling sky tv

Since cancelling our sky tv the broadband is terrible. I have spoken to many sky operators but it is still no better. Someone has checked and moved our set up. We have gone through all 13 channels. An engineer has been out and checked everything.

According to sky app we are receiving 40mb to our house but still the WiFi is rubbish. It is intermittent cutting out or just really slow.

Nothing has changed in our house, just us cancelling the TV.

What can we do? Thanks in advance.

If you had been using Sky Q alongside Sky broadband then you've lost the additional wireless signal which was being broadcast by the Q television box(es): that could well reduce coverage throughout the property.

We've had the exact same problem, the day tv went off the WiFi has been shocking!!! I know the tv boxes are WiFi spots but we have boosters that they told me would do the job!!! Do they slow it down to penalise you for not having the TV???

No, but as you've lost the mesh coverage then the boosters presumably aren't able to make up the difference.
