WiFi signal strength throughout house

I do not have acceptable WiFi signal strength throughout my house. The WiFi drops out in my living room. It is an old house with very thick walls. 
I ordered the Sky Max hub, but this alone has not resolved the issue. Please help me with getting a Sky WiFi repeater / range extender.
