@RachaelHellens is your Sky hub losing connection to the line when you lose connectivity - the LEDs will tell you see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start -?

 

If tgey are its a line issue which you can check by running the connection test in the My Sky app when the hub is connected. Thst can book an engineer or you can call Sky to get it sorted.

 

If however its a problem in your home with the WiFi then initially its down to you. First point check wherecyhe hub and booster are placed both need to be out in the open and on a surface zbove obstructions like radiators. The booster must be no more than half the way to where you need the boost as it nees a decent signal from the hub to work.
