WiFi extension or booster for annex

I have recently had sky broadband installed, however we have an annexe and we are unable to get the WiFi in there. I cannot see online any options to purchase boosters just what types you have. Am I able to get one to help with the signal? Or would an engineer have to come out to extend some how?
Thanks

@NikiW49

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of the legacy 'Broadband Boost' add-on and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell boosters except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Phoning Sky to go through a telephone diagnosis is required to have a booster or pod allocated to the account. Inevitably some  Sky booster hardware has leaked onto a certain auction site and elsewhere online, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the default 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' bundled with all new Sky Broadband orders where Boost or Max is not added by the customer doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above plus a one month broadband subscription refund.

Re: WiFi extension or booster for annex

I have an annex , about 60 ft from my

sky router ,

is there a booster that will work

or should I I run a wire ,

if I run a wire do I need another router at the other end or a booster

@Andymp it is best to run an ethernet cable and buy a WiFi access point (note not a second router unless it can be setup as an access point) to give WiFi coverage in the extention.

An alternative assuming the annex is wired from tge house's mains supply is a powerline networking kit thst uses the mains cabelling toncarry the data these can be boughtvwith built-in wifi access point.
