WiFi extenders are not working

I have an older 1920's home with solid interior walls. I have a number of WiFi extenders. I set them up and they go green / blue and then show no light. Within a few minutes of me starting to use my laptop, WiFi extenders stop working and white light is flashing.

It sounds like your extenders are too far from the router. How many extenders do you have in use?

Two. Neither are more than 20 ft away from the router

Its not always about distance, its about the objects/walls between it and the router. Have you tried with just one to start with and moved it a bit closer to the router to see if it still drops?
