WiFi doesn’t work other than in the lounge where the router is

My box is set up in the lounge... if I walk to my bedroom, or my kids bedroom, even the middle bathroom I have very poor signal or my phone just disconnects completely.. I live in a flat so not even like I'm upstairs as all on 1 floor... really frustrating
