WiFi dips in and out all day

WiFi is constantly dipping. My sky mini box is in another room, just 12ft from the router and cannot connect. My Alexa speakers will lose connection. I have to sit next to the router when joining a video call. Our mobile phones are constantly switching to cellular network because the WiFi is so weak throughout the house.
