WiFi connection to laptops when working from home

The WiFi connection to our laptops is poor?

we only have 5 devices connected and the laptops are poor, this is surprising since we've got a giga fast package? 
The WiFi is disconnecting intermittently too and keeps disconnecting from my phone too.
