If you have health issues that amongst other things may affect your ability to communicate, it may be worth registering with the Sky Accessibility Team who may be able to help now or in the future. Once registered there are also different methods of communication with this team other than phoning so have a look at these related links… ~

@Paul19972

You are not talking to Sky here as this is where customers help each other so what issue are you having ?

@Paul19972 No one will contact you based on you posting here, no-one here has any idea who you are and the few Sky staff cannot link your community account with your Sky account.

The price you are paying will be entirely down to the services you have, this will be fully itemised on your bill, the law will have zero interest in your complaint, you need to call Sky and speak to customer service to discuss your concern over the price.

Being diagnosed with autism has no relevance to the cost of service.

Hi

Sky charge you £8 a month on contract if you want to get the speed they promise. They only promise a low speed into the router but not to the devices. Then the Glass TV has a limit of a 100.

So you can buy a 500 speed package and get 100 maximum on a Sky Glass TV and if it is slow, they charge you £8 a month to "boost" the speed from the Router.  Even their tech agents are ashamed of this!!

@Antony73

A Glass television set requires around 30Mbs at most (when streaming UHD resolution content with HDR and Atmos data) and so only has a 100Mbs ethernet chipset.

This is not related to the difference between broadband speed at the Hub and local WiFi reception, or the subscription supplement which Sky (like other ISPs) charges for the loan of wireless 'booster' hardware.

@Antony73 Sky have never marketed the boosters as "boosting the speed from your router", they are to boost the wireless signal to places in your property that have weak to no signal.
