Wi-fi drops out in my kitchen

I have had new fast broadband installed today . Every time I go into the kitchen my wi-fi drops off. I also have lights in my garden connected to wi-fi that I'm unable to re/connect with the new password as I assume no connection. I did not have this problem with my old sky wi-fi
