Wi-Fi up stairs isn’t working

The Wi-Fi isn't working still my son keeps having to use his own Internet on his phone, which is not good as I'm paying for Wi-Fi for Here I've also had a booster  a white one before this is a new  hub & a new 50pence booster  which did work for awhile and then just keep dropping the line. It's not fair have it having my son who is 14 going on 28 having to pay for his own Wi-Fi I need an engineer to come out and get it sorted for me please and also would you ask him to bring another one of these booster boxes in case it's this one or we need to to get the Wi-Fi Internet on thank you much appreciated Mr Robert Dry

@Trebor6 you are not talking to Sky by posting in this forum however your problem is one of the issuues that is most commonly raised.

Boosters have to match the router and the older white ones are incompatable with Sky's latest white Sky Max hub. It sounds like you are paying for Sky's WiFi Max bundle and already have an extender pod which I suspect is what you are describing as a 50pence booster. Any booster needs a strong signal from the hub and if your's is losing connection it is to far from the hub so try it closer. Ideally the boosters need positioning roughly halfway between where the boost is required and the hub. Hallways or landings are often the best position.

If after doing that you still cannnot get a signal in your son's room then call Sky as they should send out an engineer who can agree to supply upmto 2 further pods as part ofvtge Sky WiFi Max deal..
