Wi-Fi devices keep disconnecting following Sky Max router installation
I have recently had Sky Max full fibre installed now multiple times a day ALL of my Wi-Fi connected devices either through smart plugs or through the device itself regularly disconnect sometime multiple times per day. Seeing other threads for this issue but cannot see any solid resolution. I appreciate the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz situation which has prevented me from connecting some devices full stop. The ones that do connect are simply not staying connected

I have exactly this problem too after switching to Sky Max a couple of weeks ago.
Is there a solution?

Same here, constantly disconnecting. So infuriating as I like watching live programs like twitch, and I enjoy FPS shooters. It's so annoying. I would pay more money to sort it! It annoys all my children, I work away, when I'm home I look forward to gaming on my pc but I can't!! Why can't companies just provide what they offer. Gives me British gas vibes

Update - I spoke to a very helpful advisor via chat and they dispatched a Max Wifi booster. It arrived next day and all of the issues have disappeared.

I arranged for a router replacement and the same issue kept occurring. My concern was then related to the fact you cannot separate the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz channels as most WiFi items work on the 2.4Ghz WiFi. I looked up specific 5Ghz plugs and purchased a set that now work fine.
