Hi,
I've just received a Sky Booster to increase coverage of my Wifi to parts of the house. However, I cannot connect it to my Sky Router. I've tried the WPS buttons on both devices, i've tried adding the booster by PIN in the router 'add WPS Client' page, I've put the two things next to each other but ... nothing!
Do you have any suggestions?
Note, and this is the only thing i can think of, but can't imagine is a problem, i have changed the default SSID of the Sky Router so that I didnt have to reconfigure every single device in my house....
Btw, I've tried resetting the Booster too. nothing.

Yes, @Chrisee i have the one on the right so it should all have been ok.
Anyway, I believe i solved the problem. After resetting it, I've connected the Booster to the Router physically via an ethernet cable. After a little bit, the Booster connected. After I unplugged the ethernet cable the connection was made again within a short period of time. I then unplugged the Booster and positioned it where I needed it. After reboot it did connect to my Router and it now looks like I have a stable connection where before I wasnt able to reach. I've used a WiFi analyser app that it's showing me that the signal of my Router is not strong enough, but i get both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz channels now with the same SSID (which I'm fairly confident it's from the Booster).
Happy now, though I have NO idea why WPS didnt work.

Thanks @TechmanagerMal ,
I've tried multiple times with the WPS button. They flash both sides but it does not connect.
I think it does try as I see the booster network disappear from my WiFi for a while, but it does not connect in the end.
Please, note that I changed the SSID of my main Sky router to keep connected ALL of the devices that I had connected to my previous provider. My SSID is something vanilla like 'xyzwifi'
Can't figure out what can be wrong

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@fab234 redo the factory reset on the booster by pressing and holding in the reset pin until the lights flash which takes up to 20 seconds. That should clear the memory enabling to link to your changed SSID however if it doesn't you may have a faulty booster or one incompatable with your hub. Which hub do you have?

thanks @Chrisee ,
I've tried resetting the Booster and connecting again using the WPS buttons, but No success.
Is there any way to bypass the WPS method and do the connection manually?
My router is (i think) the latest and greatest Sky ships. The model is SR203
Many Thanks

Find out more@fab234 which model booster do you have - pictures here https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-wireless-booster/which-sky-booster-do-you-have the one on the right is the correct model for the sr203 but I would expect the one in the middle to work as well however the one on the left is incompatable. The boosters don't have a web interface as far as I know so can't be networked using the password. It maybe possible using telnet but I have never used thst myself.

Hi guys,
Sorry for reviving an old thread, but over the past few months we've done some work in this space and I wanted to see if anyone is still experiencing the same issue.
Are you able to connect your Sky WiFi booster to your Hub using the WPS button?

Trying to use the sky booster with the hub. The hub doesn't have a WPS button and the booser doesn't pick up the wifi. No reponse to ethernet cable.

Hi @Arthur49er
Are you using a different Sky Hub than pictured?
The Sky Broadband Hub (right) has a WPS button on the side.

Just to confirm...
Your Hub/booster won't connect using the WPS buttons?
You've tried moving them closer together and they still don't connect?
