Why can I not upgrade?

Currently, my broadband with Sky is "Broadband connect" which I've just been told by sky is the "oldest broadband package there is" and for the last 15 years, its been all thats available due to my location and the speeds are generally only around 10-15mbs which costs £30+ a month for the privilege....

If I try to upgrade my package, it tells me "You are already on our fastest broadband at your address"

Yet, if I go through the process as if I was a new customer and enter my postcode in the checker, it tells me "Great news, Full Fibre is available at your home"

Why would there be conflicting information?  I've spoken to Sky about this, this morning and they cannot explain it, but their system says I'm already on the fastest speed... not sure I'm convinced...

Possibly a glitch based on the extreme age of that product.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type (if any) is applicable.

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Thanks Timmy,

I've had a look at that, and it shows:

Certainly indicates Ultrafast products should be available.  I do wonder if it's a legacy of having Connect on the account, which from distant memory was an interim ADSL solution from a couple of decades ago intended to be used only until something better came along (which at the time couldn't have been FTTP)
