Hi I am going Sky broadband who will let my old provider know that I am switching?

If the old provider uses openreach sky will take care of the switch if not you will need to notify them seperately

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Jane03 Sky themselves will notify the current provider provided they use the openreach network any other provider you will need to cancel directly with them

an example of who doesn't use openreach is virgin media
