While watching YouTube on tv it keeps dropping off, also if I move rooms the iPad will not connect?

Have had the router since we subscribed to sky is it still up to it?

it's getting a pain when watching YouTube and it keeps dropping of then when it restarts it's gone back two minutes.

@sproctor14 unless your Sky hub is over 8 years old it is still a current model although Sky will phase out the flat Sky Q type soon at the moment they will only change these if they are faulty. Poor WiFi will make streaming video frustrating but given WiFi is affected by the layout and type of construction in your home changing the hub is unlikely to help as the range is pretty fixed as the transmission poweris strictly regulated. The solution is often having multiple wifi sources creating a mesh network.

Sky will sell you a mesh set up called WiFi Max which does get you their latest hub which is white and if you need them up to 3 extenders but while one is sent out if you call the other 2 are only sent if an engineer agrees tgey are required.

Thank you for replying, It's well over eight years old we are finding we all have to be all in the same location while using the internet and as for streaming dropping off its no longer enjoyable, Maybe it's time to look for another provider?
