@jamesn123 Hi, I don't have it wired directly to the hub.
The network extender is a TP link RE450.
The issue arises as soon as the pc boots and is connected to the home network, I've done several tasks since my last post to fix the issue and got no where. Have contacted Sky directly and even the lad on the phone was stumped as he could see the network activity increase and get full gigabit download as soon as pc was shut down.
Enginner due 6th June, have ordered a new Router just to rule that out

Conceivably a failing NIC can bring down a network: I once saw this happen where a user had positioned their desktop PC on the edge of an office desk such that the ethernet card was directely above a radiator, and it would cause the entire LAN segment to cease to function if the radiator was on and heating the card.

@jamesn123 I have not.
Would it really make all the difference?

@TimmyBGood Interesting read up that. Its not positioned anywhere near a radiator.
i can see the ethernet and wifi receive data transfer through properties. It works for less than a minute then it stops working, and makes every other device on the network to also stop connecting to the internet.
Everything still stays connected just no internet access.
new router plugged in, didnt fix. Someone said its a duplicate ip, i wouldnt know how to deal with that because i cant kick the pc off when its connected through the hub settings

That could be symptomatic of a device generating a packet storm: the cause wouldn't necessarily be heat though.

Okay, it's a PC Hardware issue. Network engineer visit today concluded it's a wifi card or Ethernet port.

If it's a desktop with a PCI slot, there are still Network Interface Cards around for a few pounds.
Alternatively a USB to ethernet adapter should work.
