I placed my order with Sky at the beginning of August and got a go live date of the 22nd, I asked if they would cancel as we would be using the same line (fibre to the door) and they said they would.
I have just got a bill for next month from TalkTalk, talk talk say they are still providing fibre to my door, how can they if Sky are using the same line?
Anyone suggest what I do?

You can actually provision four services over a single FTTP connection. You don't have an older four port ONT by any chance?
Anyways, just cancel the Talk Talk service because it looks like something went wrong with during the switch over.
