What the hell am i supposed to do with the ‘wifi max pod’?

Just received a wifi max pod, no instructions, but a qr code that takes you to a dead link. Searched in the internet that said 'just plug it in, light will flash, then go out once it connects'. Well the light had t gone out.

So now what?

With no instructions, the app being useless and just constantly saying "we're setting up your wifi " i do wonder why i paid extra for supposed 'wifi max'. I

I get a big standard wifi router, would love to just use my own cisco kit and do it properly but doesn't seem to be possible. Why do they insist you use this 'simple setup' stuff that clearly hasn't been tested.

What do i do to get this pod working? Seems like l owledge of dark arts is required as there's no documentation or interface, anywhere.

Bizarre!
