What port does the Sky Hub used to connect to the Syslog Server?

I've configured the Syslog section under Security > Logs to preserve the logs but it doesn't seem to send the logs Syslog server.

What port does the hub use to send the logs? I assume it's the default 514 UDP/TCP but I don't see anything coming through.

Also is it picky on the type of Syslog server used? I've used the rsyslog for this.

Thanks

@PraveenPrem I am happy to be corrected but I think that option only works for a server on the network

Re: What port does the Sky Hub used to connect to the Syslog Server?

Hi @Chrisee.,

Thanks, that was the problem.

It is double NATted, so I had to set my Omada Gateway to accept WAN connection from port 514 and redirect it to the Syslog server.

Thanks for pointing that out, it didn't even cross my mind that Gateway might be blocking it.
