What are my options for getting full fibre on a dead end road?

I live on a dead end road with 6 or so houses, tucked away. All the roads around me can get gb internet but our dead end cant. I assume this is due to the cables not being installed or available for us.

What are my options for getting it installed? Contact local council? I work from home and so do a couple other houses down here so it would be hugely benefical but not sure where to start.

Your location may be on the national rollout scheme but without a current date: that project runs until the end of 2026

The alternative arrangement through government funding is described here:  https://www.gov.uk/guidance/project-gigabit-uk-gigabit-programme
