I appreciate this is probably not the place to post this, however, if anyone is looking for a new broadband supplier or leave a supplier, this may save them some hassle.
I have recently moved to a new area and was looking to get a broadband deal, I went on several of those comparison sites and decided to go with Onestream Broadband.
During the sign up process I wasn't getting a good feel for their website so I decided to leave the site and carry on looking for other deals, I have since signed up for Sky.
Anyway, a couple of hours later I received an email from a lady called Lucy Dee, I didn't reply to it, the next day Lucy Dee sent me another email.
I have attached them to this post.
There seems to be something creepy about this snippets...
"I’ve just created a unique link with some extra discount 🤑 for you"
"Please don’t share this link, if my boss found this online I’d be in big trouble!"
"I've just refreshed it so it will work up until midday tomorrow but I don’t think I’ll get away for doing it any longer"
It reminds me of the old days when our parents would tell us to be wary of strangers offering you sweets at the school gates etc.
Can this sort of creepy behaviour be reported to Ofcom?
I didn't complete the sign up process so it's annoying that they have obviously used my personal email address, they also have my phone number so I hope I don't start getting calls from them too, the company has been fined £35,000 for "slamming' previously.
Clearly a bullet dodged.
I probably wouldn't mind if the email just said we noticed you didn't checkout, please contact us if there is anything information you need. However giving bigger discounts to people who decide not to complete makes me think they must be really desperate to get people to join them.

@Rachael_K One Stream are not an ISP I have heard of before but it does look like they are desperate for business which is not a good sign.
