We had an engineer come to set us up for broadband, couldn’t complete how long will it take
Engineer could only find 140metres of cable? We will need another engineer to survey, how long will this take? Has anyone had similar issue .

@Pfergo unfortunately the only people who can even give an estimate are Openreach. Give Sky a call to see what they have been told by Openreach.

Without local context it's not possible for anyone here to explain that, but generally speaking if the necessary local Openreach infrastructure isn't in place then you could be looking at a very lengthy wait.
Putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which provisioning type is applicable.
