Waiting for OpenReach to fit new cable

Hi,

I can now get full fiber in my area but unfortunately my installation is complicated. OpenReach engineer came out and said they have to fit a new line and duct. I've been waiting two weeks since the Engineer arrive and have received two updates on the order as follows:

just a quick update on your order. Openreach require permission to work at your or a neighbouring property. The permission may be required from The Local Council, Private Landowners or Landlords. If this is not received the order will need to be cancelled. You will receive a text with an update on your order on 30/09/2025.

I would like to talk to someone about it to find out who do I ask, how do we move this forward but cannot for the life of me find Sky support contact number and the STUPID "Help" bot doesn't help either.

Its there anyone on this forum able to help me out as I would hate for the order to be cancelled.

Many thanks

@FunkyDerby if you call in your callshould be routed as thecsystem should rdcognise thst you have an fibre order assuming someone  on that team is availablr. If you currently havecdither a Sky Talk or Sky Mobile line dial 150 for a free call otherwise anyone of the many 03 numbers Sky use will get yhecsame result.

In practice though it is unlikely Sky eill know more than the content of the message you quote. Third party permissions are sought by Openreach and do not directly involve their customer who is Sky. If Openreach need action from yourself they will contact you.

And Data Protection principles dictate that Openreach typically cannot tell an ISP who it is that needs to provide permission if it's a private individual rather than a public body.
