Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs @JPR007 indicates, you'll pay a significant premium to get more than four integrated ethernet ports in a domestic router: typically only a high end gaming unit would have that.

I'm a bit green when it comes to the tech side, I have used all 4 ethernet ports running cables to different parts of the house, the walls are solid concrete so the wifi is rubbish even with extenders it is poor, Im trying to work a TV of an ethernet cable in my garage/bar but need an extra port on the router and a 25 metre cable is my only idea as I have no clue otherwise

A simple network switch uses so little electricity you wouldn't even notice, it would literally be pennies a year even at current prices.
It's not impossible, just needs a bit of bespoke techie knowledge of which there is plenty on here.

Model numbers such as GS105 are more than good enough for a home setup.
