Virgin equipment left behind

My house has a lot of random wires in the wall from the previous owner who had virgin media.  Can I just cut them and remove or will this affect my sky connection?

Unlike Openreach, I don't think Virgin has any right to expect its in-premises infrastructure to be left intact.  Obviously removing that cabling might be an inconvenience for any subsequent residents.

If you are not with Virgin for any services and the cables are disconnected then yes you can probably cut them without issue.
