Upgrating router from Asus Zenwifi XT8 to ET12

I have had my Asus XT8 mesh system connected via a Vigor 130 Modem for a while - setup using posts on this forum.

I have just upgraded to the Asus XT12 (wifi 6e) system but this cannot connect using the same settings.

I am getting a message saying the ISP's DHCP is not working correctly.

Does anyone else have this combination or know how to get it working?

Thanks

I have had to disconnect it all so can't upload till tomorrow but the WAN page was setup identically to the XT8 setup.

The Vigor 130 also appears to have a connection, just can't seem to get DHCP working to connect

Have you tried unplugging your old router, leaving it for 20-30mins then connecting your new one. Often Sky's DHCP servers need a bit of a gap if you are plugging in new hardware.

Re: Upgrating router from Asus Zenwifi XT8 to ET12

Well this is embarrassing!

A reset back to factory defaults seems to have solved it.

Many thanks for the help.
