Upgraded to full fibre and Max hub, but...

Hello,

I've upgraded to full fibre and thought it may be best to also upgrade the router and service to sky max. The installation isn't complete for another week or so, and I haven't received the new router yet, but having second thoughts due to us currently using the sr203 hub and having split frequencies, so that we can use the quest 3 on 5g. I've seen that the sky max hub does not allow for this and at best, you can disable one at a time, which isn't what we need, as some of our tech still needs 2g to work (meaning we can't run everything on 5g or vice versa). Does anyone have a possible solution to this, or would sky enable me to cancel max, so we can use the full fibre with our current sky broadband hub? I'm not the most tech savvy, so simpler is better. Thank you in advance!

@Fed_up_91 It's a call to sky, what you want to do may be possible, BUT as soon as you get sky Max you are NOT going back to the older SR203 it's NOT allowed so you may wish to try and sort it all out NOW!

Thanks. I called them and they said I'd have to wait til the installation date if I want to return the new hub, pod and cancel max, or cancel the whole package including the fibre, whichI didn't want to do. So we'll see what the engineer says and go from there. Thanks again.
