Upgraded to Sky max hub but now Samsung TV not connecting to wifi

Upgraded to Sky Max Hub but Samsung TV Model : UE32T5300CK will not connect to WiFi. It was fine on previous router. All other devices connecting to Sky Max Hub ok. Contacted Sky support but they were unable to find resolution.
has anyone had same problem and fixed it?

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Thank you, this worked. Pity Sky technical support aren't aware of this as I spent over an hour on call to them and they didn't have a fix. In the end they told me to contact Samsung.

I have the same problem. My HiSense and Sony TVs connect ok, but the Samsung doesn't. I changed the Sky Max hub to WPA2, then the Samsung connected, but all the other TVs lost connection! I think I'll have to dump the Samsung and get a HiSense 🥺

Try changing back to the WPA 2 and then reconnecting to WiFi on the other TVs. We tried this and it worked. It's a complete pain isn't it.

Yes I tried that, but either the Samsung connects and my other TVs don't or vice versa.

@SeanG3 all TVs and devices should connect to the white hub running the lower WPA2 security level. Samsung TVs dont like the newer WPA3-T security the white hubs use as the default, hence the need for the change. Quite why Samsung have not updated their newer TV's firmware is something only they can answer.

The only issue you might come across with the lower security is some Apple devices like the newer iPhones being sniffy about security not being high enough but you can ignore that warning. All other devices should connect with out issue. WPA2 is considered as secure for domestic networks.
