Upgrade to gigafast from gfast line
It looks like sky's automated broadboand upgrade tool has issue when you currently have a dedicated gfast line but are now capabale if recieving full fibre. I want to upgrade my bb package but when i check with sky online it tells me i am already on the fastest bb available. When speaking to someone at sky they explained that i need to cancel my broadband and then re order a new package as that was the only way around it. Can someone help me just uprgrade rather than doing that

Re: Upgrade to gigafast from gfast line
Why don't you keep the G.fast and add FTTP, then you'll have even faster access and wires and light spectrum access. 😎
Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

Previous posts suggest that's correct: the alternative, if you are outside a minimum contract term, is to switch ISP.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
