Updated to fibre optic but internet is not working.
Hi,
Am engineer came out on Friday and updated my home to fibre optic. The internet has not worked since. I contacted Sky Friday evening and was told the router needed 24 hours to sync to the fibre optic cable and when I called on Saturday evening I was told open reach were running diagnostic tests on the line and other customers in the area were affected. All my neighbours internet is working. I feel like I'm being fobbed off by Sky. Has anyone got any advice?

@Cara141 On the new ONT that OR Fitted for your Fibre connection, three Green lights, Power and Pon need to be both SOLID Green, and the Lan connection flashes as data is passed between the ONT and the Sky Hub, so intensity of that light looks a little dimmer with speed etc! What does yours look like?

Power is solid green the PON is flashing green. Has been for the past two days.

@Cara141 Pon flashing green is NO good, so either OR are working out why the signal and authentication off your ONT is NOT correct, and that is why Sky are saying yes you have a problem and OR are looking at it, can be a few issues that THEY need to sort out that is OR side off things.
But the main issue is why does the old connection on your copper cable not work? Failed Fibre should NOT affect the old one!
