@burt84 your hub looks to be connected to a G.Fast line and did not lose connection to the cabinet but data could not flow. The test you ran must have been able to connect to the hub to get the result you posted. but your devices could not connect to the internet which assuming thst the issue wasn't local in your home points to an issue between the cabinet and the internet. Given there was no widely reported outage - this forum goes wild even with a limited outage- this was could be a bad connection on the server you were assigned.

Often a. Hub reboit will. Sort oddities like these. If it doesnt there isnt much you can do except report the issue to Sky. Mercifully they are rare. However I would check you dont have any issues in your home such as an IP address clash which can happen if you have assigned fixed IP addresses to devices and not reseved them on the hub.

Re: Unstable fibre

@Chrisee thank you for detailed reply.

When I run the test when the internet is working (in the Sky app) it still says it's not stable.

my network does drop out and VPN disconnects at least once a day and I'm wondering if this is why. Last Friday was particularly bad which prompted me to run the test.

not sure about static IPs. Do you think it's a call with Sky for them to check it?

@burt84 the issue appears to be in your home network not with the connectioon to Sky butwithout knowing how your network is configured any advice is simpky a guess as to what the issue is.

Sure speak to Sky as they may have more diagnostic information to make that easy I am escalating your last post. The team who support the forum will send you a message inviting you onto a private chat session through the gorum where they will add a chat icon.
