Is anyone else having issues with their broadband dropping out? It's been on and off all day.
I spoke to the broadband team on tel no. Ending 2270 this morning and they said it was fine, but it really isn't. When I tried to call back the number says I've dialled an incorrect number. I've also tried dialling the numbers ending 6904 and 0333 and I'm getting the same message that it's an incorrect number.
what's going on??

There are issues calling Sky at the moment and with Sky mobile calls. Sky are already aware. There's a big thread on mobile forum.

Cheers, I guess that answers the inbound calling issue into sky. I'm still having an issue with broadband. I'm assuming it's a known issue?

Same here dropping constantly unusable. They are sending an Openreach engineer but don't know when. When I tried to ring to confirm i had the same message. Bit of a coincidence that all these things happening at the same time. I'm based near Macclesfield Cheshire. The strangest thing is that when I look at BT they are offering 8-16 with a 5 guarantee. I was with BT before on the 72 package same address. I think full fibre is almost complete in this area and about to be switched on in the next couple of months (new connection boxes on telegraph poles) so they maybe trying to move us to full fibre.

There is definitely something going on with works.
I've been working since 07:00 this morning and it's been perfectly fine. It got to 08:50 and now the connection has dropped again.
if they are doing works it would be better for them to have put up a maintenance message on their site or let us know.
It's also really frustrating that none of their phone numbers are working, why don't they tell people what's going on, it's really bad customer service.
The site seemed to be stable last night after c.18:00, it can't be a coincidence as you say but not having the ability to talk to someone just makes people more frustrated.

Same thing happening to me, last few days internet has been very unstable, when trying to stream a movie or when my kids are gaming the internet keeps cutting out for several minutes. Its really starting to frustrate me. Iv tried rebooting many times and even tried factory reset, nothing works. Iv now upgraded my broadband plan to a higher mb speed hoping it will help, but this wont take place until 12th of December, so I'm expected to wait a whole month for a engineer witch is ridiculous. Iv been a loyal sky customer for 12 years I have no interest in the crap they offer as platinum vip rewards. I just want stable reliable internet. If this problem continues I may switch to virgin or BT.
