Unplugged gadget that helps connection now not connecting

I unplugged gadget that helps connection as having trouble in bedroom so tried to move the white box didn't help so put back now not connecting keeps flashing white then stops then starts again please help as I have total lost of connection especially in bedroom but want it back up and running

What is the 'gadget'? A Sky booster/pod or something else?

Hello yes I have sky max , have a little white thing that's plugged in as couldn't get WiFi in bedroom still constantly stating bad connection think it's called a pod ? 
did unplug but absolutely no difference please if you could advise me of any other way would appreciate as simple as possible please 🙏
