Unknown devices on Sky Wifi Max hub.

Hi.

I have recently had Sky broadband connected, and updated to Wifi max. On my Sky app, I have 2 devices connected taht I know nothing about.

All the other devices showing have been accounted for.

The 2 in question are:  Just a number 7A4501A64FCC and the other BSKYB Ltd-567E.

Can someone tell me if they know what these two are for and do I remove or unconnect?

Thanks

@Liverpool201 the BSkyB device is likely to be a Sky booster or TV box and can show up multiple times in the list. The Alphanumeric entry is the mac address of a device as it is not currently providing an identity the hub can understand. This is very common so my hub reports these for several of my devices.

Unless someone has access to the WiFi password it is extremly unlikely you have devices connected that aren't yours. Although the list in the My Sky app is usually correct even that is not faultless but if you suspectvthe password has leaked change it and reconnect your devices.

Re: Unknown devices on Sky Wifi Max hub.

Hi Chrisee.

Thanks for the quick reply. You have put my mind at ease. I only updated to sky wifi Max last week, so I doubt if anyone is using my wifi system.

Thanks again.
