Unable to receive calls but can make calls

New customer.  I can make calls from my phone but not receive gem when I dial the new number.  Phone and internet wired up as per your instruction sheet.  I'm a 73 year old none tech and struggling

When was your Sky service activated? Is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub? Black Hub or white?
