Unable to connect to with sky broadband

'It looks like you do not have internet connection right now. If you're already set up we'll keep trying to connect. 

I've been in Settings and checked Nerwork setup up & there is a problem so I've checked Network setup & have tried to connect, I've pressed the WPS on the router. Connect has not been made. Please help

I am concerned, I am elderly and not very au fait with this situation.  Please help - it seems that I do not have a connection  with my internet - whatever that means  I don't know what that means or how to fix it is there anything you can do or describe to me (in detail) of what I need to do, please help.
