Unable to connect my Sky Q box to Sky router

Existing Sky Q box

finally got my new Sky Wifi Max hub installed

 broadband is connected and able to access internwt

bit am unable to connect the Sky Q box to the internet - entity via Ethernet not via wifi

 an are the router is showing as connected in the network status on the sky q box but no internet connection (showing as a cross)

 

really frustrating as have been waiting for the install for nearly 2 months

I have the same issue after upgrading to the new Max Hub with it not connecting to Sky Router, holding down WPS button for 2minutes 47 seconds results in 'Connection unsuccessful try using a Sky Q Booster',  which I don't have. Both router and Sky Q box are in the same room opposite each other. I have Airbnb guests arriving soon and now no longer have access to the services I promise and pay for. Please help.
